The path measuring system is based on a chain of reed contacts which form a sort of potentiometer. The resolution is 2 mm or 4 mm. Several different analog output signals are made available via an electronic evaluation circuit which is integrated into the reed contact rod. Approved according to ATEX, MSHA, GOST, and MA standards.
